Refurbishment and fit-out of Eildon Housing Association offices. This included internal structural works, building reconfiguration, fit-out, MEP installations and the installation of a new modern kitchen, a break-out area, customer lounge and meeting pods.

L+H provided Contract Administration and QS services for the client in the form of a pricing document and tendering to several contractors in the Scottish Borders and North England. In addition, we worked closely with the Client and Aitken Turnbull Architects to control costs whilst ensuring the contractor delivered the project to a high standard.
One of the main challenges of this site was the internal structural works. Previous building surveys had not identified that two of the walls earmarked for down takings were load-bearing. We worked with the client and contractor to provide the best route forward, ensuring the project budget remained focused.
The project is now complete and offers a welcoming, modern workplace for both staff and visitors of Eildon Housing Association.
