Founded in 1947, Langmuir + Hay is a family-operated practice based in Glasgow’s West End.

Providing quantity surveying, project management and employer’s agent services, the team at Langmuir + Hay offer expert cost consultancy and procurement advice to construction professionals throughout the UK.

Our clients come from a variety of sectors. Since the 1970s, we have focussed our service within the public sector and primarily operated within the social housing and community regeneration arena. We remain heavily invested in this sector and support several registered social landlords (RSLs) in the challenges they face in delivering their ambitious housing programmes.

We have extensive experience in new-build, refurbishment and listed building projects. More recently, the team has been working on projects delivering standards such as Passivhaus, Energiesprong, and Net Zero Carbon. We are also working with clients to deliver projects using modular offsite construction.

Today, we consider housing associations to be among our most significant and longest-standing clients.
