Refurbishment of existing Moskito Bar in Glasgow city centre to provide an upmarket restaurant, bar, and venue. Works included major internal structural works and building reconfiguration, high-end fit-out, interior design, MEP works and a new working restaurant kitchen.

L+H provided QS services for both client and contractor in the form of detailed pricing documents and tendering to the local supply chain. In addition, we worked closely with the client and their advisors to ensure strict cost control was maintained in delivering the project whilst ensuring that the contractor could provide the works to a high standard for a competitive price.
The main challenges included the reconfiguration/structural works required in the existing building. The property had been allowed to decline considerably over several years. The high-end interior design and fit-out evolved through close project team consultation and sought to provide a final product that met the clients’ visions and aspirations.
The Moskito Bar was once a popular venue on the Glasgow nightlife scene, and the client was keen to restore this reputation by providing a stylish and unique bar, restaurant, and event space.
The Moskito Bar is now a stunning, modern venue boasting excellent dining and entertainment services.
