Paul Black

Director, MRICS, AaPS

I have over 40 years of experience in private practice. As the marketplace has evolved, my quantity surveying skills have developed and expanded over the years to provide employers agent, project manager, and principal designer services to various clients in sectors such as local authorities, residential, commercial, leisure, emergency services and educational sectors.

With considerable experience in social housing, regeneration and community-led projects, I have an excellent track record in delivering successful projects for clients. I am also a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and the Association for Project Safety.

I also have developed additional skills in asset management, procurement, stock condition surveys, life cycle costing and asset management and provided QS and Project Management services to community enterprises.

Project commissions have varied in value from £15K to £47M.

More about me:

  • My career highlight so far was Securing the Post Contract commission on a 369 nr unit housing project running for over four years.

  • During the pandemic, I focused on quality of life, dog-walking, cycling, “staycations”, restoring my vinyl collection etc. I also worked on my garden and home improvements, ensuring these pastimes remain.
