Tom Ward

Following a period of work experience at Langmuir + Hay, I decided that I wanted to pursue a career in quantity surveying. I’m now a full-time member of the L+H team while studying for my degree at Glasgow Caledonian University.

I’m known for my photography skills – they’re usually in demand on in-depth site visits. I’m also famous for always having a daily Meal Deal for lunch.

I’m a go-getter, so when I’m not in the office or doing coursework, I enjoy my time off and like to go hillwalking.

More about me:

• I officially joined L+H in 2021.
• I enjoy walking with Bella, my Labrador – we’ve bagged a few Munros in our time.
• I competed for Scotland at the World Schools Games in 2018.
• I've achieved the Gold programme of the Duke of Edinburgh award.

A little known fact about me:
I used to ski for Scotland and completed a season coaching at an international ski academy in the French Alps, travelling with athletes around Europe for races.

What I cannot function without at work:
My calculator.

My guilty pleasure:
Sitting in Paul’s chair when he’s not in the office (shh!).
