Mark Langmuir

Mark Langmuir

Director, MSc, BSc, MRICS

A Chartered Quantity Surveyor and Contract Administrator with over 30 years of experience, having joined the company in 1991. My main focus is delivering QS and Employer’s Agent services on a broad range of new-build housing projects for RSLs across Scotland.

In addition, I also have a wealth of experience in delivering single and multi-element major repairs contracts with increasing involvement in thermal improvement schemes and attainment of EESSH initiatives. Another interest is the conservation of historic buildings, and I have many years of experience in fabric repair projects for Category A and B listed buildings, including multi-funded projects with complex financing arrangements. In addition to my BSc in Quantity Surveying, I’m an MSc. in Construction Management and a Member of the Institute of Construction Safety.

In the past decade, I have led my team in delivering projects ranging from £50k to £20M works costs.

  • I’m always proactive and believe early decisiveness and sound decision-making at the initial stages are critical for project success.
  • I enjoy reading modern fiction, going for walks, and spending time with family.
  • To relax, I listen to a wide variety of music, old and new.
